Hi, I am the original ugly duckling. For centuries we ducks have been exterminated; our habitats ruined by pollution and drainage, from housing development. We have been driven from our land, tortured, and eaten! We have been captured and kept in cages, shot at, ripped to pieces by mans-best-friend, poisoned, exposed to oil spills, and mutated by radioactive waste!!! If you think I am ugly, then it is not at all surprising, right?
