Jack Alaska And The Book Of Dreams
Jack Alaska, the alcoholic archaeologist, is occupied with his life's ambition: no, not drinking, he is after the book of Ramock, often known as the book of dreams.The book is the oldest known document in the history of civilisation. Although only a legend, it is said that the book had been lost in the city of Ramock some 5000 years ago.
Where the book came from no one knows. Some believe it to be the holy codex of Atlantis, others claim it had been written by God himself. For it is said that the one who posses this book shall learn the mysteries of the universe, and be granted untold powers.
It is also said that the ruins of Ramock, recently discovered deep in the Sahara desert, are filled with strange wonders and magic, more evidence that the book is likely to be found there.
Yet Jack does not share in this ambition alone. The insane and evil Plastic Surgeon and mad scientist, Nick Shadow, is bent on finding the book too, and he will stop at nothing to get it either.
Nick is determined to rule the secret of mans oldest dream: the secret of eternal life. He is determined to monopolise the beauty market, to sell youth and beauty to those egocentrics who can pay the astronomical price. Nick believes that the book of dreams is the key to his corrupt ambitions.
Don't let Nick succeed in his evil scheme! Stop him before the universe is thrown into chaos. Stop him before we are forced to live with Elizabeth Taylor forever!
